Every Vote Counts!
November 5, 2020
Alternate text

This election has been unlike any other because of the pandemic. That doesn’t change a simple fact: we must count every vote. Our ability to protect the environment, climate, and social justice rests on our democracy’s health. With more mail-in ballots submitted than ever before, it will take a bit longer to count all those votes and certify a winner — and that’s ok. This is democracy!

The day after the election, there were 50,000+ unreturned Kansas mail-in ballots that have until Friday to arrive in elections’ offices. This could have an impact on close down ballot races in our state. To guarantee a fair election we must count every vote.

Do you think every vote counts? Tell the world! Use hashtag #CountEveryVote on social media to support the democratic process. You can use the image above and any of the text in this email.

DO MORE THAN VOTE!

While we await election results, here are a few things to do to extend your impact beyond voting.
