Early Voting Begins in Kansas
October 14, 2020

Early Voting Begins!
Today is the first day advance ballots are being mailed out in Kansas and it’s the first day some of our Kansas county election offices opened their early voting locations.

When talking to voters, you can find out if their early polling location is open at ksballot.org. Enter their address and be taken to a personal Voter Guide. To find their early polling location click the “Find Out How to Vote” button in the top right corner of the page (see below).

If they applied for an advance ballot, tell them to wait until it’s arrived in the mail before voting. If they were to go to an early voting location without their advance ballot, they would be given a provisional ballot, which is not ideal.

Let us know if you have any questions. We hope to see you on today’s virtual lunch hour meetup!

TAKE ACTION! SAY NO TO EVERGY’S DIRTY RATE HIKES

Kansas’ largest utility monopoly, Evergy, is proposing a rate increase for nearly 1 million Kansas customers. The proposed rate increase would be one of the largest in the company’s history, hiking Kansas Central customers’ bills by more than $170 per year. Kansas City area Metro customers will see an additional $42 per year.
