Did you know 6 million Americans have already cast their general election ballot? Be one of Kansas’s environmental voters this year, make sure you are registered to vote!
If you’re already registered, check in on a friend or family member to make sure they meet Tuesday’s deadline to register. Peer to peer voter engagement is proven to be one of the most effective ways to turn out voters.
The deadline to register to vote in Kansas is TOMORROW, October 13th!! If you think you are registered to vote, confirm your status online at ksvotes.org. Especially if you are:
- A first time voter
- Recently turned 18 and can now vote
- Recently became a citizen and can now vote
- Recently moved, married, or changed their name
Check voter registration status or register to vote!
For those who requested advance ballots, they will start mailing ballots to voters on October 14th, the same day that early voting starts in some Kansas counties.
Keep an eye out for advance ballots OR find an in-person early voting location in your county on the Voter Network’s website, ksballot.org. There is still time to request an advance ballot. The sooner you request it, the sooner you will receive it.
Note about early voting locations:
The Voter Network is at the mercy of county election offices sharing early voting locations and they are populating the site as quickly as they can. Please note that the listings on ksballot.org of early voting locations are a work in progress and you may need to check back later in the week. You can always call your local elections office to locate your nearest ballot drop box.
