You have options!
There are 3 ways to vote in the Kansas Primary. If you were registered to vote by July 15th, choose the option that works best for you;
- Vote By Mail – Apply for an advance ballot to be mailed to your home before July 28th. Ballots can be returned via mail or hand-delivered to local polling location by Aug 3rd.
- Vote Early In Person – Advance voting began on July 15th and ends on Aug 3rd. Show up at your polling location with a mask and a valid ID.
- Vote In Person on the Day of the Primary – Show up at your polling location on Aug 4th with a mask and a valid ID.

Note: If you were not registered by July 15th, you can still register to vote in the general election at ksvotes.org.
Voting by Mail
In Kansas, vote by mail ballot applications are up 5 times what they were for the 2018 election!
Voting by mail gives you time to review your ballot and research the candidates in a way that suits you.
Tomorrow, July 28th, is the final day to apply for a mail in ballot. If you would like help filling out the application, check out this tutorial that provides step by step instructions.
