Communications Workshop on the 2020 Elections
July 27, 2020

Monday, August 3rd, 5:30-7:00pm CT

This training is part of a series for leaders who care about environmental justice, economic equity, and public health issues, and increased voter turnout in communities across the Midwest. The Communications Workshop is designed to give leaders and volunteers the tools they need to create effective traditional communications and social media pieces to educate community members about the importance of voting and civic engagement to elevate the issues they care about.

  • How to effectively engage through traditional earned media tools
  • How social media is used right now in our society
  • How we can use social media to educate voters
  • Best practices for different social media platforms
  • Practice and feedback for creating your own content–what is important to you?

Hosted by: Tracy Sabetta, Initiative Consulting along with the RE-AMP Network, a network of 130+ organizations across the Midwest working to equitably eliminate greenhouse gases.  The Climate + Energy Project is a proud member of the RE-AMP Network.
