Climate change is a public health concern for our state and those least responsible will be the most impacted and least able to adapt to the climate crisis. Yet solutions exist to build resilience, economic opportunities, and healthy communities. We need the political will and power to implement them.
We call on policy makers to take bold, comprehensive action to reduce emissions and build resilience through a state climate and energy plan. We call on our utilities to help us reduce the risks of climate disruption to help safeguard the future of our state. Perhaps most importantly, we call on YOU to continue calling for climate action in Kansas.
