Help Activate Climate Action in Kansas!
December 14, 2019

Last fall, the International Panel on Climate Change issued an ultimatum: we must achieve net zero CO2 emissions in under 12 years to avoid the worst effects of global warming. In the past year, we have seen more rapid progress on climate action in Kansas than ever before.  At the same time, we’re combatting the most organized opposition against clean energy that we’ve ever seen.  This is a transformative time in Kansas for climate and energy issues, and a critical time for action.

Your donation to the Climate + Energy Project activates climate action in Kansas.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS.

In 2019, the Climate + Energy Project and our WEALTH (Water, Energy, Air, Land, Transportation & Health) Partners released the Kansas Climate + Health Declaration to catalyze grassroots climate action.  The Kansas Climate + Health Declaration aims to increase awareness of the impacts of climate change on public health, increase civic engagement on climate action in Kansas, advance policies that build community resilience and safeguard the future of our state.

History tells us that with only 3.5% of active participants, nonviolent movements can change the world. Help secure 100,000 Kansas signatures to demand climate action.
