Join the Climate Advocacy Lab’s Webinar
“Building Powerful Volunteer Programs.”
11:30 am – 1:00 pm REGISTER
How can our organizations create the conditions necessary to help people take action, keep taking action, and grow into powerful leaders – on our campaigns and within the larger climate movement?
Social science research offers a wealth of insights related how people think and act, and how those behaviors scale (or don’t) to build political power and create lasting social change.
During this webinar, we’ll share insights gleaned from across the Climate Advocacy Lab community (social science research, experimentation, and more!) to help you mobilize and organize more efficiently, effectively, and transformatively. You’ll find answers to questions like:
- Many people are taking political action for the first time, but how do we keep them taking action?
- What insights from research can help us structure volunteer programs that support leadership development and engagement with our organizations and campaigns for the long term?
- How can organizations facing a surge of activism after the 2016 election convert it into a long‐term base of support?
After attending this webinar, you’ll have practical ideas to try out in your organization to build more a more engaged activist base and more powerful campaigns.
