Volunteer/Internship Opportunties

The Climate + Energy Project (CEP) is a statewide nonprofit working diligently toward a sustainable energy future in Kansas. CEP volunteers play a vital role in this ambitious undertaking.

CEP volunteers & interns get opportunities to apply their knowledge in areas of legislature, journalism, renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change and public health. While internships are unpaid we feel the exposure and knowledge gained to be invaluable in launching a career in an environmental field.

CEP starts everyone out as a volunteer, once we've had a period of working together, a formal internship offer may follow for those who are interested.
