Ice storm or no ice storm, we WILL launch our website

13 years ago | Dec 13, 2007
Yeah! More or less - welcome to the Climate and Energy Project's new website. Please consider it your informational portal for figuring out the often crazy and confusing world of climate change, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. Here, we break it all down for you in a calm, reasonable, and informative manner. However. As indicated by the headline on this blog entry, we did run into a small problem during the launch. Our web person lives in rural Jefferson County, Kansas, one of the areas gobsmacked by the recent Midwestern ice storm (Lawrence Journal-World). So the site is not ENTIRELY complete. Translation: a big chunk of the Glossary is not done, the Library contents are scanty, 10-15 8 FAQs are not done, CEP Contacts and Resources is not done, the Fact Sheets aren't done but they won't be posted for a day or two, and the links are only partially checked. And the site map isn't posted yet. It's a little like we ran out the front door to catch the schoolbus, and forgot to grab our lunchbox. Still. At least we remembered coats, jackets, clothes... I'll leave the analogy there... :) natural disasters aside, the site is pretty darn complete. Enjoy!
