New Talent at CEP!

I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Climate and Energy Project's team as we examine and promote cost-effective solutions to Kansas's growing energy needs. A more energy efficient Kansas is in our near future, and CEP is leading the charge!

CEP's work fosters communication with businesses, legislators, and individuals about practical energy solutions for Kansas's growing energy needs. I am honored to take part in this good work!

As a lifelong Kansan, born in Emporia, raised in Cherryvale, and educated in McPherson, I feel nurtured in Kansas' cultural wealth. I received my Bachelors of Arts from McPherson College in 2010 and started my career at a small environmental consulting firm. For the past four years I managed a handyman business in Wichita where my wife Alisha and I reside. During the last three years I volunteered with a national organization on climate and energy issues where I received training that focused on non-confrontational communication. This training was helpful on multiple occasions including meetings with congressional offices in Washington, D.C.

With more and more distributed generation (DG) systems coming online in Kansas, people are asking "what's distributive generation?" I will be working on DG education and outreach and engaging businesses as part of the Clean Energy Business Council team. Working together, we can help people better understand how our energy will be produced in the near future. I look forward to assisting CEP in this very important conversation.

If you have not already, please sign up for our 10 year anniversary celebration & benefit coming up on October 27th, I look forward to meeting you there!
