Every city building in Lawrence is getting new LED Lighting - Wow! New windows on city hall, new roofs, and a 100KW solar array on Fire station #5. "It's picture perfect for solar!" said Eileen Horn, Sustainability Director for Lawrence and Douglas County, during CEP LIVE on Facebook last week. If you missed the livestream you can check out the recording here . CEP commends Douglas County for their commitment to 30% reduction in public buildings’ energy use, and they are well on their way to reaching that goal!
