Take Charge Wellington!

Wellington is working with their municipal utility and the Kansas Power Pool to take charge of their energy future!

Wellington citizens are working on several key programs to win the Take Charge Challenge:

1.  "Thousand Points of Light" - a CFL challenge
2.  "Powerstrip Police" - a phantom load awareness program with Wellington school students
3.  Weatherization projects - partnerships with USDA and state Weatherization Assistance Program
4.  Energy Star HVAC/appliance rebates - offered by Kansas Power Pool
